I finally got it
I love driving around SF when those crazy coastal storms roll in. It feels like being on the bridge of a massive freighter on rough seas. I feel so safe and reassured. Such an amazing beast. I'll hit the Sierras this winter for sure.- Count Laszlo

Tire pressure
At pick up there was 45 psi on all fours. I adjusted that to recommendations and felt the front was a little sloshy. So I now run 42 on all fours like Rob and find it just right.- Count Laszlo

Speaking of driving slow, I'm mister slow in my LR. People hate me. But, I enjoy driving it like that... because, it feels good and the LR drives beautifully that way. Driving fast in the LR seems somewhat pointless...- Count Laszlo

Totally agree with this. The LR4 is specific to a certain buyer whereas the RR is specific as well. It's like moving up from a 5-series to a 7-series. Kids go off to college, mum and dad begin enjoy a little extra spoiling. It's a simple formula actually. And of course there are exceptions...- Count Laszlo

Okay, dropped the Rover (Harriet) off at BMC this morning for my first service. Have 6600k on the clock, but one-year interval kicked in, hence the service required light. They changed the oil, all filters, rotated the tires, did a full inspection, and returned her completely vacuumed and washed...- Count Laszlo

Reading through this thread is making the HID mod very temping. David, did yours arrive? Did you get the 6000k? I'm curious because I went back to my old BMW M3 forums and it was mentioned that 4500k was closest to BMWs OE look. I don't know if 6000k will be too blue, it was mentioned...- Count Laszlo

Non-OEM bulbs? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Replacing your H11 bulbs with another bulb company that make H11s is 100% fine and DOT certified. Did you know the OE H11 bulbs in the LR are Philips? Land Rover does not make lightbulbs! I bet you that if you called LR and...- Count Laszlo

Service light on, then off , in a couple of seconds . . .
I just went out to lunch and the light comes on at each start - service required. So my assumption is the time lapse is triggering for oil change or something. Time to make an appointment.- Count Laszlo

Blue jeans are truly destructive for any light-coloured upholstery. Luckily, I've been able to get mine off - but now try and avoid wearing designer jeans in my LR.- Count Laszlo

Good call, rainmn! (does that mean rainman?) David... if you can't get the stain out you may want to ask LR, they do have leather repair services (re-dye/stitch the leather area etc.) but not sure if they'll charge or not. Wow David, that's messed up. I don't know why something like this would happen, do you have red shorts or something where the dye bled into the stitching and leather? Also, the pic looks like whatever protects the leather is stripped and seude is showing. Anyway, to me this looks like it needs...- Count Laszlo
