thanks umbertob I only checked the 34 and 47 tomorrow I'll take a look at the others...
yes cmb6s I swapped the front one with one which was and still is working properly, nevertheless I didn't check the fuse 55 which is apparently the cig one I'll update tomorrow after checking it...
cheers...
yah yah car was on and still no cig. They were 15a blue ones f35 and 47 or something like that...
Also, the front and rear 12v sockets do work so the middle 12v and the cig are the only dead ones
So I swapped the fuse with the one that goes on the boot and the lighter still doesn't work, it is not the fuse because the old fuse is powering the rear and it works alright, is the next step disassembling the dash?
I think I read somewhere in the lr4 forum that the very new ones (2015-onwards) are a bit different. Chasis is the same as far as I know so I'm guessing they fit anyhow...
I'm looking to get rid of mine as a matter of fact
I love my LR but will probably change it for one of this http://www.toyota.com.au/landcruiser-70-series without thinking it twice...
A shame they don't sell them on this part of the world :(
thanks for the kind offer Mx468, I'm in northern Mexico tho...
I will consider doing it myself, dealer is quoting me usd 430+ tax (VAT rate here is 16%) for both, his prices are always an insulting ripoff...
Hello, so the oil change is due soon and I thought that at 68k miles perhaps giving a bit of love to the diffs may come handy.
So I want to ask you how much does your dealer or indy charges for the diff oil change?
Just to give me an idea if my dealer price is in, at, or out of the money.
Most...
it was a rather random LR3 G4 replica, selling @ 35k usd,
out of the money in my opinion... cool if off road, a bit over the top for city driving.
Here some screenshots of the ad, should you not be able to access it:
hahahaha that ad was far out of the money! but yes more desirable than an evoque or the likes, I genuinely hope the LR5 stays on the same path as the LR4 and the current Defender, meaning one can go kick some jeep and toyota arse
Absolutely true, a friend of mine got an evoque and I asked her if I could drive it just to see what was all about (I own a v8 LR3) and oh my woow was I disappointed! I hated the car immediately! hahaha I guess the evoque is alright for her, a 23 yo woman who only drives to uni and the shopping...
No I haven't got a tool, I took it to the indy immediately after the light turned on on day one of the new AMK and he scanned the error in front of me, he uses autologic's Blue Box.
I cannot say if it was there before the new compressor because all I was told by my dealer and 2 indies was that...
So I woke up this morning and went straight to measure it, the results:
Same height rear and a loss of about 35 mm in both front struts, this comes as a surprise as before the compressor swap the rear was the one giving trouble.
what does this mean? is this a new unrelated problem??
since...
I thought it was off, but measurements kinda match what cmb6s said, except the difference between front and rear is around 40 mm instead of 20...#
anyhow I parked it in my garage and disconnected the fuse 26 I'll update tomorrow with the results. Didn't have any faults today :) finally I catch...
within 2 hours of it without the fuse, there's no noticeable difference, I had to use the car so I connected the fuse again, I'll disconnect it overnight and measure before and after. fingers crossed
yah I know but one can easily tell that in mine, the difference between front and rear is far more than 19 mm, it's almost an inch and half...
anyhow I'll measure it as soon as I have time. :S
That is correct mate.
It drops with the fuse connected, this morning it was considerably lower but not all the way to the bump stops as I expected. Which comes as a bit of a relief tbh
I pulled the fuse after fully inflating it today and am waiting to see what's up.
I also suspect the...
