Is this the rear air valve?

So, I'm back home and coming July I'll be using my LR3 again... some may remember I've been having suspension issues for AGES! my 3 currently leaks almost all of the rear air in a matter of an hour or so and as it is apparently IMPOSSIBLE to find an honest mechanic (who can work on Land...

    Diy changing ignition coils

Yah, apparently FoMoCo is used for OEM, I replaced the brake switch and when I bought it from the dealership it said FoMoCo... had I been aware of this I'd bought it from a Ford dealer hahahha well cheaper regarding the DIY, I've got no idea how hard it is tbh

    Air suspension issues

if you leak you notice even if the car is on the standard height, perhaps it is indeed the compressor... if you replace it I do suggest buying the AMK off of ebay and paying your independent mech to fit it, you'll save some quid that way

    Air suspension issues

is it leaking? I mean in the mornings can you notice if it's lower than when you parked?

    Air suspension issues

I've seen the new AMK compressor for under 700 usd @ ebay make sure it's not one of the valves, those are well cheaper to replace... and bloody yes !! this is a common issue with the LR3, I went to my dealer not too long ago and they said the new RR has a load of suspension issues as well

Will it cause any issues in the LR3 if I coast in neutral gear for a long time?

brilliant! mystery solved then, neutral is more fuel efficient

    Crazy suspension!

sorry mate I've had kinda the same issue for months now! apparently it is either a faulty valve or a leaking compressor but tbh I (my dealer) am (is) not sure so I decided to run like this until my compressor burns out. Please update if you find a different solution

Any liners or mats to protect beautiful factory LR mats from kids and Costco trips?

just buy the rubber mats, they are super heavy duty and washable, you can put some teflon coating on the carpet mats as well

    Visible wires in windshield

thanks umberto! yah I assume it can, summer in my city goes as high as 117F so I think the tinting film will manage the heat, I've never had to turn the windscreen on tho as winter here rarely (never) goes below freezing temperature

    Visible wires in windshield

As we are talking about the heated windscreen already I wanted to ask, if I tint it (transparent v-kool, not actual black tint), will the heating feature be unusable? where I live there's no need for it really but I don't want to mess it up.

    random damaged tyre

hahaha I do! and some trails are rather rough being only rocks, no soil or sand. I am quite amazed of what the 3 can manage to do on those tyres... so I should assume it's off-road damage then?

    random damaged tyre

guys so I realised my front right tyre has got some weird damage, it certainly doesn't look like wear to me, the weird thing is that only that one tyre has it, the other 3 are absolutely good, what do you think, have I got a lemon? or do I go offoad too much. The set is rather new, wear...

Tips and hacks to get the best mpg out of your LR3

well 16.1 mpg isn't that bad if you've got the v8 petrol engine IMO, mine's well worse... Anyhow I think putting more air into the tyres helps I've also read that the engine is most efficient when one keeps the revs between 2300 and 3000 rpm. then again I'm no authority, my LR averages 12mpg :hmpf:

    Sport mode

I read in the English forum that it's almost for sure that's the problem hahah thanks mate, glad to hear it isn't an actual issue with the transmission I'll replace those parts on my next visit to the stealership

    Sport mode

I don't really need it but for the past 3 weeks I've noticed that it works randomly, there are times when it shifts properly and other (like today) when it won't shift from D to SPORT, if I shift it won't show the gear numbers either. It doesn't drive odd neither can I feel any issue with the...
