    Showoff Your LR4

Spent a long weekend in the Rio Grande National Forest last week, and here are just a few fun pics:

    Excellent, thanks, guys!!

    Phone connectivity

Anybody have a take on this? I might go down the iphone route soon and I'm curious. I currently use an ipod plugged into the ipod USB slot, and it displays track info. I don't want to lose that functionality when I stream music via my iphone via bluetooth.

    Phone connectivity

Hey Fin . . . when you stream music with your iphone, does the artist/song name/etc display on the center screen? Or do you get all blanks and something that says "Bluetooth Audio" (or something like that) and nothing else?

For those who have the power folding mirrors

Agreed. If it's going that slow, it's probably on the verge of dying anyway.

For those who have the power folding mirrors

You've got a fishy looking tape measure.

For those who have the power folding mirrors

I just went down to the garage, and just eye-balling it, the passenger mirror does look tilted in. Pure insanity.

Crazy! And look at those toes!

For those who have the power folding mirrors

I could see the mirror in the housing being tilted more to accomodate where the driver is sitting, but not the housing itself being tilted in more. I'd expect the housings to sit in the same place. Keeps the vehicle symmetrical, and also makes it so you don't have to manufacture/stock...

Cargo space mat (and what about tailgate?)

Interesting! It'd really be nice if there were tie-downs on the sides of the load space . . . these little tabs are just teasing me, since they obviously couldn't bear any sort of reasonable load.

Cargo space mat (and what about tailgate?)

On the topic of load space, I would love to know what these hooks are for (see yellow circle). There's one on each side.

Cargo space mat (and what about tailgate?)

Haha, no kidding . . . but in my defense, I've been down this road before. Quite a ways back now I had a red GTI with black interior, and that's when we picked up our yellow lab. So I definitely know the down side of the yellow on black. I guess the upside is that I can see the hair that I'm...

I have a yellow lab, black interior, and a well-used dyson.

Looks good! I like your almost-murdered-out approach.

    Showoff Your LR4

Thanks! It was the first opportunity I had to take the LR4 out on the trail, and I figured doing it under a little dealer guidance would be helpful. We all had two-way radios, and they did a lot of explaining about the vehicles' features, when to be in low, high, manual shifting, the works. And...

A few pics from the other weekend. Dealership-sponsored outing and it was a lot of fun. Credit to BradleyAdventure.com for a handful of these shots. (BradleyAdventure) (Bradley Adventure)

    Another hitch thread

Do you find that the truck self-levels the suspension when you've got the bike and carrier on the back?

    Another hitch thread

I know the OEM hitch is pricey, but the way it functions is awesome. All you have to do is jam it into the slot, it locks itself in place, and you take the key out. Super fast. I use an OEM hitch for my bike carrier. I don't keep the carrier on all the time, so the hitch receiver comes on and...

Just picked up my new '13 Corris Gray HSE

That is awesome. I've been meaning to drop mine down so I can check the air pressure and see how it operates (before needing to do it when I get a flat).

    Installing hitch mount bike rack

If you need the adapters, you must either have TT bikes or mountain bikes. Either way, if you've got nice bikes with odd frames, you'd probably want to go with a tray-style rack.
