Ha! It is probably because a RR owners don't read a comments on poor man's LR as is LR3, forums. I just got back from Maine Winter Romp and conditions were very challenging this time around , a LOT of deep snow .All the RR owners that showed up did not even tried to go out on the trails... -

C'mon Axel.. It is a first Winter Romp for me as well. I do have a Mantec sump guard ,though, but from I have seen you can hit a beginners trails and feel for it yourself .I will be there with my LR3 and not planning to hit extreme trails as well...yet:smile:, but I will when the time... -

Side mirror loose
Is possible to retrofit a folding side mirrors? Mine are heated ,W/memory , but to fold it i have to push the in and they do 't go all the way in anyway.. My LR3 has just been in a car wash the other day and they must have pushed it to hard or tried to hard as the whole upper casing is... -

To be honest with you I took down RS sliders last year due to clunking, but that turned out to be a rear art bushings ,again,so I don't really remember to what the top compressor cover was tied to..I know it was not air lines, I think I went over a dryer with one and ac line with the other ... -

Where do you guys buy ASFIR protection plates? I called UrbanOffroad and they told me they don't sell these anymore due to many complains from clients regarding company products( design flows, holes drilled improperly in places that could not match chassis original mounting points and such..)... -

Power steering help needed
It really sounds like worn lower shaft U joint. i had the same symptoms and decided to buy a new one and replace it , but first I followed an advice from a British forum members regarding spraying the U joint with some thick lubricant. I understand, that you already have try that approach... -

Good call on O ring on dipstick.I checked it next morning ,took it out and although I did not see any rips in it, I wiggled it while pushing it back and CEL disappeared.I don't know if it is normal for dipstick to fell loose in the channel, by the O ring, I guess it wears off as everything else... -

As Dave stated about dryer, i would also start to reconditioning your compressor with a new dryer and overhaul kit , that LR dealer can sell you, which is a pack of a few screws, O rings, needed to renew a few parts on compressor's body, for about 20 bucks.Dryer itself it probably more that $... -

Yes , these codes where NOT there , before the service.I check the O rings on new PCV valve as I forgot to smear a new engine oil on them.Will change a spark plugs next week and look for creaks on intake system.Thanks for a tip on dipstick ,I will look into it tomorrow morning.It is frustrating... -
