Missing AC clutch
The LR3 AC compresor does not have a clutch so to speak. It is called a variable displacement compressor , that is constantly ON .As far as blowing hot air, check the fuses first ...maybe someone will chime in with more elaborate answer, but that would be where I would start... -

New Tires!
I am sure ,you have made a good choice with Nokians. My WRG2's passed 55000 miles and still no sign of replacement yet.Since I drive on them all year around, I don't see a need for strictly winter tire ,but you guys on PNW may see a cooler temps in spring and fall to accommodate a longer period... -

While removing interstate battery for charging , I discovered this hanging wire loom with connector.I think it should go into quick connect tied to another loom on the right hand side of the picture.I am not sure if I have to..it might be for something that is related to European specific... -

Chirping noise
I replaced that pulley , when I was replacing both belts.Old part is flat , whereas new pulley has lateral grooves on both sides , so it keeps belt in place without any sideway movements. Dave is right , it was a TSB on it a long time a go and it is worth replacing along with a new belts.I can... -

Once I have read, on the British forum, that , when Hight sensor malfunctions , you only have three attempts available, to write a appropriate values ,after that EAS module will lock up .Don't know what happens next or if it a true at all, but that was the word spread by british highway land... -

Fuel Door Lock on LR4 2012 HSE
If you worry so much about somebody stealing or messing with your fuel, invest in STANT locking fuel cap for LR3 or LR4.It works fine and is it a 14 bucks well spent.This locking door feature does not work well, you would be surprised how easy is ti pry open that flimsy mechanism anyway. -
