    Showoff Your LR4

I really like Devon4x4's skid/sump plate. It's a solid single piece, which looks very clean. Thanks for sharing.

    25000 miles, $950 front brakes?

I had this rear brake TSB done as I noticed squeaking when reversing. Now, I hear squeaking when breaking at a light. I told LR service this and they said it's normal. WTF?

    Trail Report from Moab

Great write up, ndrenfro! Did you custom build that winch into your bumper? That's a very clean setup along with the swing away spare. I still love those 18" comp wheels.

    Dedicated off-road wheels

Do a search on 18" compmotive wheels on this board as they are the only option for offroad wheels due to our brake size. This topic on this board has some good history and pics that night help you. I'm going to keep my 19" and just get the coppers. I'll keep my michelins for onroad.

    ebony interior

I have had the ebony interior for a few years and specifically the lux leather. It's worn very nicely and hasn't faded. I clean and condition the leather every month as the softer leather benefits greatly from it. My seats are one of the best parts of this truck as it feels like a cushy...

Cooper Zeon LTZ Off-Road tires on Stock 19" Wheels

These tires are very capable off road. My buddy with an LR3 runs these and loves them. He's taken them to LR national rally in moab and Colorado many times along with our North Texas Rover club yearly rallies.

    2010 vs 2011

No, I was taught to actually think for myself and research the facts and not make lazy assumptions because any idiot can do that.

    2010 vs 2011

That's a pretty general statement without any additional facts to back it up. I know true delta is a good site to look at but one would have to compare the 2011 to the same duration of the 2010 to be accurate. Even then, I'm not sure there is a big enough sample size on true delta for 2011...

    LR4 Lux Limited Edition

Hey David, You and I are in the same boat with our LR as I'm consider getting rid of my LR4 late this year/early next year. If I don't and decide to keep it, those compmotive wheels will be my next upgrade along with some sliders and a rooftop tent. Im holding off on any offroading trips...

    LR4 Lux Limited Edition

That would be awesome if LR provided an offroad edition. Heck, I would take some offroad wheel options that fits over our brakes and was 18" diameter.

    LR4 Lux Limited Edition

I don't like the grill either. The only exterior update that I've actual liked in these one-off editions are the metropolis wheels. I like the black shading, especially with a dark color lr4, IMO.

    Stating Issues

I haven't had this but just wanted to add that the new key fobs(smaller) are nice compared to my '10's fob that can double as a self defense device with its weight and size.

    Off-Roading Pictures

On this forum. My thought was the subject could be 'the official LR4 offroad picture thread' that could be a stick so anyone going forward can add a post with some pics. Something like this: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=16879

    Off-Roading Pictures

Hey Finleyforprez, You should start a new official lr4 off road picture thread that we should see if it could be a sticky at the top. That way, folks can just keep adding to it. I saw this on some other sites and the lr3 board. Since you're the latest rover off roader, you could be...

    Off-Roading Pictures

Here is an exert from an LR4 Review: "The 2011 LR4's specifications list a "maximum wading depth" of 27.56 inches. That means it can "wade" through standing water that is 27.56 inches deep -- a level just under the headlights, almost to the top of the tires and nearly halfway up the tops of...

Confirmed it's 24" in regular height and 28" in raised height. Also, if you guys haven't seen it, there is a land rover quick start app for iPhone that is very helpful. It gives vehicle and year specific info on your truck regarding numerous features(warning lights, drive controls, terrain...
