    LR4 and an odd 20in tire size..fit?

No, my 265/65/18 spare fit fine fully inflated. Did not go in without removing trailer hitch, but once it was in, trailer hitch went back on without issue. I get if people don't want to 'grind' anything but in my case, the frame horn was a minor 'grind' and I did it just because there was some...

    LR4 and an odd 20in tire size..fit?

If the look of the 20’s is what you want I get that. We are all doing this for a particular reason and life can be short, so do what you want but.. I’ll just throw in that for all of the opinions and comments that can be confusing, having just done the LR3 18” switch from 19’s, it just wasn’t...

    Another Defender hint?

If that’s true it will be a boon to Defender sales as mods and particularly lifts are popular. Seems to me lifts only support larger tires in certain circumstances but let’s hope.

    Another Defender hint?

Will be interesting to see the implementation of this. It’s been in production for quite a while now and I have a car that has the turbo/ev solution in it - works flawlessly, but then again, it isn’t LR engineering. Still, can’t (don’t want to) believe that something as common as this will be a...

    Another Defender hint?

An upgraded LR4 works for me. No classic Defender next version but at least it will drive some of the D5 disappointment out. The look to me is all over the place, good and bad, based on the pics. Can’t wait to see it in the flesh.

    Another Defender hint?

I like it and would be trading in the ‘15 LR4 for the 90 had I not disliked that V6/ wheel dialed beast so much that I got antsy and have already parted ways with it. Now, would I trade out my ‘12 LR4 with the 18” wheels on the new Defender... probably not, at least not until it’s been around...

When will they just drop the Nav altogether and create a place for your phone and a big screen for mirroring the phone?

    Another Defender hint?

Kind of need to see it from a few more angles and in a few more colors before pronouncing final judgement. I don’t hate it from the pic but I’m in the camp of “wants an upgraded LR4’ more than the camp of ‘wants a Defender like the old one’. I’m in the same boat as Scott - it could be the...

    Another Defender hint?

I have a 2015 LR4 that is just itching to be traded in. First in line is the Defender, but the Bronco or maybe, just maybe in the Gladiator are possibilities. My problem is that the ‘12 LR4 with the new better wheels, tires and the rtt is just too good to do anything with... just did a 2,000...

    Another Defender hint?

“Yes, you can spec your new Defender on 18s. But you won’t, because it’s also available on wheels up to 22 inches across.” 22s will be favored by the urban crowd? [emoji2958]

Looking to buy an LR4 and have some questions

I have a 2012 HSE with 85k mikes also a relatively new to me 2015 HSE with 38k in it. To me, there is no comparison, I have always loved the ‘12 and the V8 is just about all the reason for that. The gear shift wheel in the ‘15 is also a constant reminded of why I like that vehicle so much...

    Anyone run 235/65/19 on LR4?

With the 265/65/18s you can easily reset the speedo for accurate readings. The 265/65/18 spare does fit in the factory spare location. ... and the LR3 18s look way better than the Compos (spacers aside)

    Discovery 4 Sat Nav reset

I’ve done this with an iPad mini. Worked fine but it just seemed as if using my iPhone was just as good and left the dash a little cleaner so I went back to phone only. The built-in GPS and audio beg for a better solution though.

Everything about tires for LR4/ LR3 with 18" wheels

If you have wased through the thread you probably saw the recommendation for the Gorilla Nuts. Someone a lot more experienced than I made that call so I got a set for my new(ish) 18”s and am very pleased with them...

    Showoff Your LR4

I’m not sure you can on the SkyCamp (this model). There other brands (Roofnest is one) that pop-up vertically and have the ability to carry toys on top. Think IKamper has a new, different model that does allow additional mounting options.

    Showoff Your LR4

The 4-man iKamper footprint is the same as the 2-man when folded up on the roof. There is no difference in terms of fit on the LR4 for either model. The 4-man has an additional section that folds out once the shell is opened and extends the bed area. This is the more common iKamper sold. In...
