Anyone have some thoughts regarding the ‘doability’ of hauling a motorcycle on a hitch mount with the spare tire on the back? Currently, mine sits a reasonable distance off of the rear of the LR4 so maybe even with the spare, there would be enough room? -

20" wheels
265/65/18 seems to be the ‘safe’, no modification tire size for the 18s. Cooper, BFG and others all really good tires. Just remember you need spacers (1.25) so its not a trivial switch but if you can live with the ‘look’ of the 18s, you don’t need to switch out tires. Really depends how much... -

That tactical solution is a nice set-up but all-in, with full options, makes for a pretty serious $$$ commitment. I like it, but do i like it that much...? However, as I have a RTT, that extra storage for gas etc... would be great. -

To date, I have just left it on. it is not a DD and it 'just' fits in underground parking. They aren't difficult to remove and at 160lbs, not too tough to handle if you do think about taking it off tho. -

2013 is preferred by enthusiasts because it’s the the last year to get the 5.0 V8 which is pretty much universally preferred over the SCV6. I found some slightly used 1.25” spacers from Motorsports for the LR4 for a good price so will try those out on the 18”s. Thoughts on the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W? I’d like to try the 265/70r/18s. If not, the BFGs 265/65r/18s. Falken Load rating: SL (not E) 2756lbs 116T -

Ok, this is a little more ‘wheel’ than ‘tire’ oriented but... What is the minimum spacer width when using the LR3 18” wheels on the LR4? I have seen the following referenced: 1.25” 30mm 25mm Assuming less is more in this case, what is the minimum size without having to mod? -

$65/wheel for powder coating is a great price. I think you should budget up to $150/wheel if you take it to most shops. Includes them taking wheels off and on. I have the Michelin Premiere LTX and agree on the shallow tread depth but your experience is reassuring. I've got a relatively light Offroad trip coming up in a few weeks and will see how they do. I have been thinking of the Coopers for the next set. -
