Extended Warranties
Seems awfully expensive to me for the mileage you get. That's close to what I paid for my Ford ESP PremiumCare Warranty back at 52k - 5 yr/60k miles and about $4.6k. But I gather Ford (Ziegler) no longer offers that for LR's. -

Where are you in Canada? Maybe someone on the forum can help you out if they're heading up your way. I'm on a Willys Military Jeep forum with a lot of members in Canada - the same thing happens there. That or make a special road trip to check out the US! :-) -

What was the size tire you got from Costco? Every time I've gone to look there for tires for my LR3 they say they don't carry the size tire I need. But I probably need to plug in a specific tire size. I bought a set a 18" wheels to use for more aggressive treads than on my standard 19's... -

Front Windshield Leak
Not sure what the brand of replacement glass is but my Independent Shop said it's a bit smaller than the original and the glass shop set it about 1/4 - 1/2 in too low. They're going to talk to the glass shop tomorrow and work with them to get the insurance company to pay for the correct OEM... -

Safety Concern: Quick Release Hitch Receiver on LR3 #KNB500023
I swapped out my OEM hitch for TLT's Rhino Hitch. I can't say enough about how much more I like it than the OEM hitch. It sits higher, attaches much more securely has a higher rating, and fits right over the tow plate area. Check it out and ask about it. -

Front Windshield Leak
Apparently LR put out a bulletin on this issue. Don't know if it's an issue with replacement windshields that aren't specifically from LR or something else. But I gather it has to do with the clips there as well and the seals. They get folded under or something or else need to be replaced... -

Faint metal scraping
Sounds like the pads are worn down. I've had that sound when the brake pads are low but haven't tripped the sensor yet. Sometimes pebbles get stuck too and end up scoring the rotors. The squeaking could just be brake dust that has built up. My independent shop folks recommended washing my LR3... -

HOUM_WA: I sit corrected! :-) Must be the way I've heard it, kind of like playing the old game of telephone. Or maybe my warped sense.... Either way I love my LR3 and wouldn't pull the 3rd row seats out unless I really got into back country driving with it.
