Do car washers strip of your LR3's wax?
Agree with most statements here. I don't let the dealer wash my D3, and I only hand wash and wax it myself. Keeps it looking damn good, even with a few trail scars :-) -

So I take it, this D3 will never see any even slightly offroad lovin then lol? Also curiously enough, are these not going to rub the inside of the wheel well, or the height sensor during certain movements? -

2008 Nav DVD
Unfortunately the new maps do not look like a Nuvi or Navigon etc. They are the same look, just more locations, and points of interest on them. It would be nice if Denso (the LR GPS manufacturer) would beef up the GPS a bit. -

If it's a TSB and you're continually having problems with it, yes they should do this for free. If they give you fits you need to let the dealer know you're going to phone into LRNA and talk to them about it.. That usually does the trick with *moody* dealers.. -

As ethan stated, tell them to reflash the tranny. Regardless of whether they can reproduce it, if you complain about it, they should flash it, and ensure the software update was applied correctly. -

agreed, local non LR dealers push the D3s out the door, but the LR dealer keeps the price consistent. Although you can get a MY 08 model SE for around 36-38k (Demo pricing) with 5k and under on the miles... not too bad at all. -

Ironically I'm noticing here locally the 06 CPO's are running 25k-28k with anywhere from 14k miles to 29k miles depending on features.. -
1791 Navigation Hack and NEW 2008 Map Disc
Angas, I used a disc (c) 2005 and (c) 2008 after replacing my (c) 2004 disc. I am still able to use the 1791 hack with all versions of the disc I've used. I have an 06 D3. So yeah to recap, at this point, I have 1791 capability regardless of the disc I'm using.
