New to LR3's have mileage questions...
Ha! 14-15 around town. only 17.5 while loaded up with 5 people on a 420 mile round trip, 350 highway at 75 mph and then around town sightseeing over this weekend. I've done better when trying, but not over 18.5 on a short, all highway run. Don't believe the computer, calculate it...- mustbeaudi

LR3 has 23,000 miles and needs $2,530
Not to be smart, but the suggestion is to forget your dealer. Also, these are all wear items and the truck weighs over 2.6 tons unloaded! Tires you can buy elsewhere - and not the Goodyears!! Search here, but there are myriad suggestions for SE and HSE tires for less cost and better...- mustbeaudi

Just noticed a new HSE tire at Tire Rack
There's a Bridgestone here or on the way, a Toyo (I tried it, so far not impressed with hydroplane resistance but I have no comparison on an LR3), the GY OEM, the Pirelli, a Korean brand (IIRC, Hankook or maybe a Kumho). Hardly a fair deal. What kind of dealer charges you wrongly and then gives you back stuff other than your money, and that of lesser value? Manufacturers generally have a loaner program that gives the dealer some allowances, too, even at only 500 miles - but why sell one so young? Did it get hit? BTW, they make money at even invoice on ad allowances and holdbacks, other programs to move metal. They don't do us any favors...- mustbeaudi

Yes - why is this dealer charging you more than cost for a USED car? Retail - I don't get it. Maybe at that price with the 100,000 mile plan and strong financing, if you need it? Have him buy you "anything but Goodyears" while you're at it, too!- mustbeaudi

Warranty not foreclosed if purchased used, you just add it at the dealer or aftermarket for additional cost.
