Ha, ha. At least that guy's good for something - poking with a sharp stick (and wit).

    LR3 + size wheels

Maybe you could get those really classy, stylized chrome adhesive emblems for the fenders and tailgate that have the helpful measurements in inches - 22" - so folks don't miss the point. I love when I see those on cars rolling through the Detroit freeways with their OEM 16" steelies in...

    Final warranty service checklist

Roadside assist often comes free with an extended service contract a/k/a extended warranty, but you might find that you had more choices at lower costs had you acted on that before your factory coverage expired . . . unless you already picked one that you know still works.

Can we please just ignore this joker? Why bite -- that is, except to post something really biting or very funny.

    2plus2plus2 - anyone?

2 + 2 + 1, here. The real issue, for those with youngest children, is the permanent attachment of child restraint seats to the LATCH hooks or via seat belt. Of course, this precludes flipping the outer seats. Further, most kids prefer space between them rather than sitting in two...

    bearing noise comming from motor

Impossible to believe given all the time you appear to spend trolling here, and reportedly elsewhere. You're a head trip, man.

    Wheel fitment confirmation

I so dig the bargain shopping that Houm's wheels represent, and the good natured, self-deprecating manner with which he discusses them. You go, girl!

    bearing noise comming from motor

This trolling clearly indicates some type of underlying emotional problems or needs. I did not google it, and the anonymity probably precludes serious study, but there must be papers on the subject by now. Sociopaths find their ways into virtual communities, I guess, just as in real ones...

    bearing noise comming from motor

A fetzer valve noise changes with speeds of any king, the muffler bearing noise is more affected by temperature. I straight away missed that possibility. Maybe, just maybe, RonLR3 bought an actual lemon! He had to get some extra value for his paying $10,000 over MSRP. There's always hope . . .

    bearing noise comming from motor

Those things get low on fluid, sometimes, often when stored for a while on dealer lots unsold. Makes a terrible racket when one finally dries out. Don't ask me how I know.

    tire pressures 42 & 33

Frankly, I can't believe that y'all are as patient as you are with RonLR3. There appears to be no logic in many of his posts. I rather doubt he even owns this mythical LR3. Even if he does, it would be easier to ignore him rather than encourage the troll-like baiting inherent in his every...

My first week with my LR3

Our HSE proximity sensors sound off unexepectedly while stopped when the car feels others pass too closely nearby, even if we don't agree. Too much ninny nanny beeping sometimes, eh?

Help on a possible problematic LR3 purchase.

Folks, the used car market is the only sector with action these days. Used car pricing has gone up, with LR3 up about 10% at auction sales. Remember, a huge tsunami of off-lease 2006 models deflated wholesale pricing just as the credit markets failed a few months back, and now prices seem to...

Help on a possible problematic LR3 purchase.

Too expensive. You could get a 36,000 mile 2006 HSE for that much (buy mine), or at least a similar CPO SE7. CPO is not same as full factory coverage, be informed.

Key fob and key shank re-programming issues

Good resources here. Nice responses you got. Sorry for the bad luck purchase. Shop around for that key price, I get 10 - 20 percent off list here depending upon the dealer, and I bet mail order dealers (if they exist for LR as they do for Audi/VW) discount further.

Windshield wipers cycle once during startup or ignition off

Brother, I hand you a sincere compliment. Then I make a little sarcastic joke about screenage along the same lines of all that old wheel jabber, and you totally break down and lose it. Man, maybe what they say about surgeons is actually true . . . (Just as a fun aside, none of the...

Windshield wipers cycle once during startup or ignition off

Ouch! Play nice. We're all probably just a generation more senior than him, and he's been so good natured about the previous wheel discussion. Now, more importantly, did you get bunches of flip down screens, really big ones? Like those old Roadmasters and 'Gators I see riding around the...
