    I installed running boards 2 month ago, and I used 3M Undercoating to protect them from rusting. I don't know if you guys talking about similar thing, but i think this stuff should work good. especially after driving in the snow, a lot of it building under the boards.

    there is a touch up marker at Atlantic British. I think it's about $5, it is especially for the emblem. I guess you can always remove the letters, i think it worth trying to fix it first.

    I had the same problem on my Mercedes. Had to by new set on ebay, but they are not that great, they interfere with the radio then i torn the lights on. On my LR3 everything is fine, no interference and work great. So i guess it's just a luck.

    In order to connect the wiring you need to disconnect plastic connectors at the end of the wires in your LR3. It was not in instructions, so it took me some time to figure this out.

    hitch and wiring I bought used hitch on ebay, and wiring from AtlanticBritish.com or BritishAtmantic, don't remember, Cheaper then a dealer and the same outcome.

    I hocked my XM Radio to the power wires from cigaret lighter in the second row. No issues. Just had to run the extension wires to it.

    Tires for the on-road guy

    This is a normal all season tire. I wouldn't say they loud, but there is significant difference between factory Goodyear. Good handling in dry or wet, snow, no problem. I went off road couple of times, nothing extreme, tires handle it with ease. I am very happy with my choice.

    I drive on yokohama geolander h/ts, about 10k now and still no signs of wear. I live in upstate NY, so the winter are nasty here. Very pleased with this tires. This is not my first set of yokohama, i have them on my other cars. My favorite tire.

    I have Yokohama Geolandar H/T-S G052. Very happy with this tires. I live upstate New York, so the winter are nasty here. I went off road on snow last year, tires handle it with ease. Rain or dry road pretty good to.
