i just press it an additional time and the on road/off road function is there. And yes it was plug and play from what I was told, I do think they had to do something for the backup cam to turn on when you place the tranny in reverse. -

Thats the original one I was waiting to get. They have been out of stock on that unit for 6 months now. I likes that it had the VGA plug that would let the nav unit be used as a PC screen. No ETA on when the item would be available and the only other unit I found had only 1 video input. So... -

Aftermarket Stereo Nav System
I have asked before too, seams the only thing you can do is add a aux input adapter. Which will not affect your warrenty. Now if you don't have a factory nav you could add a nav unit to the empty bin above the radio and rewire all the speakers with any equipment you want. -

For those who have the updated 08 Nav disk
Anyone still have the older 05/06 disk(or the 1791 fixed one:creep:) they would be willing to sell for cheap? I'm about to leave for Turkey for 2 years, but I'm tired of getting the run around with the 04 disk. I'd buy the new one but I head out in 3 months...no reason to...Thanks -

Yes, I was able to change out the entire bulb housing for the HID fog lights, I heard that with some vehicles if u change to a HID bulb the wiring may not be able to take the additional heat and burn up. I don't want that... -

$2,000 for GPS update?
I got an email from navtec when I asked about the 06/07 disk being out of stock and was told the new 08 disk would be out between Feb and the spring and would be 199+tax and s/h. So I don't know where the $2000 came from.....so should I wait or get a cheaper 06/07? -
