Agree with mike, joey and anyone else that says you shoulnt use any sort of leak fix material. Just cause dad sold it doesn't make it right as he sold it as a temp fix to over the road truckers that needed a quick fix in a pinch. As noted on my previous reply I had no intentions of using it. -

Mike: 95 d1. Sure would like to disable it or fix the very expensive solenoids. I wonder if the mechanisms are the actual trouble and not the solenoids , probabley wishfull thinking. -

Must be lucky. My 95 will use about half the resevoir a day. If I leave it alone it goes down no further than this. Valley pan next to firewall is the obvious culprit for me. Temp never goes up. Had it flushed two years ago. Gonna get it flushed this fall. Gonna put a new resevoir in as... -

Are you sure it isn't ice build up on the universal joints like once happened to me? I got under my truck and noticed that the shafts and joint had about three inches of ice stuck to them and were hammering the dog house. -

Thanks joey. That's what I'm afraid of is issues. One time I pushed my remote to lock it and one of the actuators didn't go down. Tried to get back in and the alarm went off. Put key in driver door and turned it to the left for five seconds still had issues. That was several years ago... -

Haven't been using my security system for a long time because of the silly door solenoids. They don't always go down. Till I go to work on freeing the mechanism or replace the solenoids is their a way to disable the alarm in the event I accidently trigger the alarm? Dad used to say locks are... -

Silly question. Where would I buy a double lip seal? Makes good sense as I do a bit of wading to get to my favorite rocks. So far by the way I have had no leaks in 400 miles since I replaced the seals. Want to buy these seals so I can pull the hubs apart in a couple months to reinspect... -

1998 window problems
Ps: FYI doubt the trouble is a grounding issue because joey usually knows but the ecu ground is behind the right fooltwell cover if it is like my 95. Ground e200 also grounds the dang cruise ecu that I'm having trouble with. -

Cruise cntrl rebuild
Followed manual fusesible link from pins 1 and ten. Fusesible link to 6 and grnd and one from 7 to grnd. Pump operates and actuator retracts. Just went out and tried your method and squeezed it thumb over hose stays retracted. Now I'm gonna resolder the ecu doubt it works even though someone... -

Well here I go. Rechecked all troubleshooting suggestions in my electrical manual everything ok points to the ecu. Going to remove the epoxy and resolder as suggested in the forum. Hope it works. Roverland has one in stock for $60 hope if I need it they still have it and works better than... -

The inner seal or as they call it the constant velocity shaft seal defenitely has to be leaking. I'm just hoping the grease keeps it at bay for awhile. Thinking about giving up on the 80/90 in the swivel housings anyway just somewhat afraid of heat buildup. Still cannot get over the right...
