I really debated a new bumper vs. the hidden winch. For me, in the end, it came down to: I can go from a hidden winch to a bumper if I do not like it. However, it would not be easy to reverse a RTE/SG bumper to a hidden winch setup.
I have an XD 9000 that I am going to wedge up in there when the...
humm, I was having some uneven wear on my front tires. I just had the local LR dealer do an alignment and then rotated the tires. They did not mention any issues with getting the work done and it seems better now, however still monitoring tire wear.
I have the Mantec plate on order, I like it over the Rasta as it covers a little more area up front. However, I also ordered the Rasta hidden winch setup to fit a winch up in the bumper. I think they both make some good parts.
I was also a little creative with my gas tank and have dented it, I...
I have kids age 6mo, 3, 5, & 7. We do the smaller ones go on the second row and the older ones love riding in the back because they can see out so easily. We have a rooftop rack and large yakima storage box for the roof where all the luggage goes when we take a trip. It works great for us. Also...
I thought it was great! I wanted to get into stitches and sutures however was advised super glue would work for everything I was qualified for:hmpf: I am also looking at taking a Search and Rescue class next time it comes up.
Ok I have been watching this thread for a couple of days and it finally got me to inventory what I have added over the last year!
I originally took my rover off road several times with the stock tires and our local rally this year had a lot of stock LR3's with stock tires. Guess what the...
We are a 6 person family and our kids love it! We have to put the bags up top when we travel but who cares. We have had some issues that have all been fixed under warranty. I also have the warranty out till 100k miles and it sure make me sleep a lot better. I would suggest that you check into...
How many miles did you get on your Coopers? I have about 20k and I don't think I'm going to make it to 30k. I was also thinking of trying something else like the MT/R. How do you like the MT/R's? are they louder than the coopers on the road?
I got mine from Amazon, a lot of guys around here use them with good results. You can sometimes find it at Costco for $49. I have had mine mounted in the engine compartment just in front of the spare battery holder for about a year and it works great. I can air up all 4 tires from about 25 psi...
I did not buy the full size spare with the original tires so there is some difference in tread wear, roughly 10k miles or a little more. I am just about to next oil change and I am going to see if I can rotate it into service. I actually have another wheel that does not have a tire on it yet. I...
I have the coopers and the full size spare. In the spare wheel storage area there are several rubber bumpers that are about an inch or so in height. I took two of these out so that my tire would fit nice and snug in the opening. It barley hangs below the bumper and I have never removed it prior...
I just did my brakes about a month ago and was also concerned about the wrenches that I had fitting. In my case the ones that I had worked just fine so no grinding was needed. It might be worthwhile to check yours first as your mileage may vary. It was pretty easy process overall.
I have the setup and it works great. I sent all my information to them via email. It is a smaller company but transaction went well for me. Here is a link to a recent thread regarding the battery setup.

I just did the Atlantic British kit with pads and rotors this past weekend and I have some squealing on the front left. Not sure what it is but i'm going to take it down tomorrow and take a look. Any ideas?
UPDATE: I pulled the wheel and I failed to grease the retaining clips and the metal...
I believe it is the Front Runner rack sold in the US here:

I found a set of 4 wheels with tires here in Phoenix by searching on Craigslist.org. I paid $100 for all 4 of the wheels and kept 2. I just sold the other 2 for $100. They guy I bought them from had just bought a set of pull-offs from the dealer. They are out there I had to look for a month or...
Mine is the "Land Rover Assured" warranty. And the rebate comes from "Land Rover Assured $1000 Rebate". Let me know if you have any other questions, glad to help.
wow, something is not right. First the price did increase however LandRover just started giving a one thousand dollar rebate when you purchase an extended warranty. I just bought the 6 year 100k miles for $4,200 including the rebate and a $300 dollar discount for being a costco member. I have a...
Ok, I have the Prodigy brake controller which has worked flawlessly for me! I also have the Fleetwood E3 that I have been towing with great success. When I had the controller installed I also had them weld the little side arm with ball for the tension sway bar. Towing has been great. I took rig...
the spare battery is not the same size as primary, it is smaller. I had a friend that had an optima yellow top that he was not using so we made a trade and it has worked great for me. However if I were to buy a battery I have started hearing that interstate makes a really good battery, better...
I installed this kit about 4 months ago and it was really easy. I also ran my own cables to the rear to run an Engel fridge. It has worked great and the beauty of this kit is that it keeps both batteries connected until the primary battery voltage drops to something around 12.5 if I remember...
So... Anyone have a 18" 5 spoke they are looking to move along to another LR3 owner? I'm planning on rotating and adding my full size spare to the rotation pattern.
