I bought the entire rebuild kit from British Atlantic for about $400. None of the parts were "OEM", but I haven't noticed a difference yet @ 1200 miles.- USAFbuckeye

Fading Plastic
I've jumped on the Forever Black bandwagon! This stuff is as good as they say. I put 3 coats on today. Streaking is a problem, but I found if you take a dry terry cloth towel and buff the surface the streaks go away and leave the factory-like sheen. The color is nice and not greasy...- USAFbuckeye

I did take the plastic guard off. It kind of helps to get the front (nearest the front of the LR3) bumpers off. The rear ones took a little more time. I had to hold the wrench on with one hand and turn the socket with the other. Last resort- you could just cut the rubber bumper off and take...- USAFbuckeye

Disco voyager rack on LR3
I know where you can buy a pretty beat up LR3/4 exp rack for about $400. I like those voyager racks a lot. I'm sure you could adapt anything you want with the right skill...wait, I mean time and $$- USAFbuckeye

Just fixed (hopefully) a leaking sunroof...
You might could (is that southern enough?) get some quick weld or metal putty to patch the hole. Is there enough room to replace the defective piece with a spliced section of rubber tubing? Otherwise good luck and thanks for the wonderful pics. They will become a great resource for the forum.- USAFbuckeye

Who has the swing away rear tire carrier?
Yeah, I contacted them to buy the one they show. They no longer carry the item due to lack of interest. I contacted the manufacturer who quoted me nearly $1300 shipped. That's when I decided to make my own. It looks fairly simple.- USAFbuckeye

It wasn't hard and well worth it to gain the use of my hitch back. You will need a long 10mm box-end wrench and really strong hands or a pipe wrench. I had this same problem. Mine were so clogged that during my test to see where the water was coming from, it began pouring from the seatbelt attachment points. My problem was that the rear drains were not only clogged, but pinched off at the exits. After cleaning and re-seating, I've not...- USAFbuckeye

*Warning Thread Jack* I discovered today that if you take the 4 rubber bumpers from the spare compartment, the over-sized tires fits better. You still have to air it down, but you can at least use the hitch again.- USAFbuckeye
