My new full-size spare tire will not allow use of the hitch (big surprise). I'm looking to make or buy a tire carrier, but can't seem to find a dealer. Rasta hasn't returned any of my emails.
Thanks in advance!

Hope the link still works. Wonder if it doubles as a moon-shine generator?
Did you realign the parking brake and then bed them in after you replaced the rotors?
check this link out for more info...

Thanks Jack,
I have that setup currently, but it's just not doing my music any justice. I hadn't thought of burning cd's, it's a good idea, but I fear I'm too lazy to do so, AND I really don't want to carry around 100 cd's.
Thanks! I think you're set up is the direction I'm trying to go. The headphone cable in to the aux port simply isn't cutting it. I's also like to direct connect my XM radio.
Thanks again
That is an amazing price with amazing terms! I didn't follow the link to compare but I can only assume it's as good as the Ford ESP?
If so, I spent about $1200 too much.
I've never really understood the need for the RAI. The vent is high enough to where water intrusion shouldn't be a problem. In fact if you've gotten in to water that high, you'll probably have cabin intrusion...
Maybe a better fresh air intake with the air being pulled from out of the dust...
Before you ask, yes, I did search the forum. I found plenty of solutions, but would really like to find out what the best one is.
My goals are:
- ease of installation
- cd (or better) quality sound
- $$
- fit and look of install
- user friendly
Some of the links I found are here...
As long as you have the ecm for the seats and have the dealer turn the options on, I can't see why it wouldn't work .
I saw a control module on ebay today.
I plan to give this truck to my son when he's old enough (7 more years).
I really have no intent on getting an LR4 due to the fact that I feel it's strayed too far from it's roots. I'd really like to find a G4 edition to keep as a play truck.
Do you run OEM tire size as well?
I've replaced the air filter a month ago and still have 13.8 mpg... I run 285/60/18 terra grapplers. I'm about to do the spark plug change in conjunction with the 60K service. We'll see what that brings.
To be quite honest when I compared the two warranties the LR one didn't come close to the Ford ESP. In fact the service manager recommended the ESP over the LR one. He said they hardly ever get push back from the ESP adjusters vs. the LRNA guys.
The prices you quote are outrageous no matter...
Simple, I paid $3500 for the warranty and all my combined repairs covered the cost of the warranty to date.
Imo, the LR warranty is a waste seeing that it fails to cover certain items (compressor, et al).
