    Stuck in the Mud

I've had terrible experiences with mud and my LR3. I have 285/60 Terra Grapplers and got stuck pretty easy. The first time was my fault, went too slow and just got bogged down. Second time, the mud was just to deep and filled the treads in too quickly which basically turned the tires in to...

Do we "trust" Texstar brake pads?

Ok, so the deed is done! Atlantic British had a pretty good deal on an entire rebuild (front and rear rotors, pads, caliper bolts, and sensors) kit. I followed the guidance off the UK D3 website and found the sticky post about rear brakes very helpful. I'll link to the post that was...

Do we "trust" Texstar brake pads?

Truck has nearly 60k. The fronts have been changed once, this is the firs for the rear. The rotors have a pretty aggressive lip on both the inner and outer portions of the braking surface. I have a buddy who's a LR mechanic and he said that the rotor may be able to be turned, but that LR...

I'm due a brake and rotor change and saw that Atlantic British is having a sale on their kits featuring Texstar pads...never heard of them. Anyone else?

    Who's running Cooper STT's???

I just got back from a Land Rover event in Hot Springs Ar. There were 4 other LR3's running 275/65 R18 and one running the 285/60's. It's a nice looking tire, mildly aggressive. Not sure if they're any better than my terra grapplers. I'll probably go with the zenons next.

Using Terrain Response to Improve Gas Mileage

Maybe already addressed but, have you performed a tune up? I replaced my air filter and noticed a 1.5 mpg gain on average. I'm close to 60K and will be looking at spark plugs next.

Anyone found a way to get the fog lights to work

with the headlight select switch in "Auto"? Not that they provide a whole lot of light anyway, just find it annoying that I can't leave my lights in auto and use the fog lights at the same time.

Ford ESP Premium care Extended warranty

Best warranty out there! It's paid for itself already with a suspension compressor, all front bushing, air conditioning vent motor and some other small stuff. You can take it anywhere, just let Ford know or diagnose it first.

    Discovery 3 water in footwell

The front two are pretty easy to get to. The driver's side (for NA LR3s) is right up under the dash near the firewall. I believe you must remove the foot rest to access it. The right front can be accessed by removing the air intake grille from the right fender. You will have to remove the...
