Baja Rack for LR4
Yes, the rack sits a little higher than it would if mounted directly to the truck. I want to be able to use it on other vehicles, and if I purchased the rack designed to fit directly on the LR4 that would not be possible. Regards, David -
Baja Rack for LR4
The rack uses hand knobs to secure the four brackets to the crossbars. No tools required. I can install it in about 15 minutes. About the same to remove. Regards, David -
Baja Rack for LR4
My Baja Rack works great. I use the Mega Mule and attached it to a pair of Yakima cross bars. That way I can run it on my LR4 or RRC as the need arises. When not in use it lives suspended from the garage ceiling. Regards, David -
Roof top cargo and aftermarket racks
Hi danr - I don't use the platform either, just the crossbars. They just slip under the front and back of the Baja Rack. I lower the rack onto my truck, give it a couple inches of slack, and slip the cross bars out from under the rack. Works great. David -

I ordered my 2010 LR4 with only 5 seats and it has 2 floor panel covers in the back. The one closest to the tailgate houses the jack and its implements and the tow hitch receiver. It has plenty of left over space for jumper cables, tools, etc. This also leaves the two fender compartments empty... -

Hi Prez, The rock sliders and tree guards look good. Urban Offraod sells three different models for the LR4. Which one did you get? It looks like the tree sliders pass under the stock trim. Are there any modifications necessary to make them fit? Thanks. -

Last week I had the rear brakes renewed for the first time on my 2010 LR4. 31,100 miles (2/3 city and 1/3 highway driving). The front brakes still look good. Paid slightly less than $700 for rotors and pads. -
Key Fob Not Recognized
Did you try replacing the fob battery with the spare you carry in the glove box? I have received the "not recognized" message twice on my 2010 and after I replaced the fob battery everything was back to normal. David -

Interior Light Delay Relay on 91RR
I believe the interior light delay relay has become erratic in my 91 RR. Does anyone know if an after market relay is available from NAPA, O'Reilley, Autozone, etc.? If so, does anyone have the manufacturer and part number? Another question - can I just remove the delay relay so the lights...- ricker
