    Keep in mind that replacing the starter also cleans the connections, typically. So you might not know if the old starter was actually OK at only 57,000 miles. That said, as I asked earlier, is the OP using ECO mode, which cycles the starter a lot? That's gotta have an impact.

    How long was the interval between the photo ending in 14 and the one ending in 16? If you use the "hood open/cancel twice" trick soon after stopping the engine, you can actually watch the oil level indicator rise.

    Interesting. So you're just diverting the air around the heater core for colder air, and back through it for warmer air? I've not had mine apart, but on my old FJ-40, the valves controlled the coolant, not the air. I can see why it's harder to control coolant, though!
