the first number is the viscosity at colder temps (0 flows freer at colder temps than 5) When warmed up both oils have a viscosity of 20. Any brand name oil will be fine to use. For piece of mind, use at least a synthetic blend. you do NOT have to run a full synthetic as long as you change... -

do any of you have the problem of the drivers side blade making a popping noise as it reverses direction at the top? I've tried 3 different blades since owning my LR and all 3 make that noise at certain times, usually when moving fast. -

Engine oil
remember, it all depends on how you use/abuse your LR. If you do nothing but highway driving at sane speeds, longer intervals seem fine. Lots of city driving with jack rabbit starts? some off roading? change it sooner. I myself change mine between 5-7k, depending on what use it's gone through. -

Lower Control Arm Bushing Change
nice job! I just replaced my entire control arm a few months back, but plan to replace the bushings on the arms I took out and use those the next time (or maybe sooner). Will probably go this route with the orange polybush. -

found some 5 spokes, on their way! next question: I think I want to go with the 18" Duratracs, either in 265/60 or 265/65. With the 265/60s, is the load rating (110 S) too low for the LR3? Alternatively, the 265/65s have a higher rating (114 S), but will they fit (not rub sensitive parts)... -
