i think max brightness is variable from state to state, i think it says on the box that these lights are dot approved, but not sure if dot approval is based on lumen output or just wattage, i think just wattage.... i would say a considerable improvement over the phillips extreme halogen with... -

great write up, i did the same thing and like you decided keeping my 2011 LR4 was the better way to go.....now if you could live without the third row go and do the same thing with a grand cherokee summit ecodiesel and let me know your thoughts... -

the reason for this 3rd row seat design is the solid rear axle, no suv has fold flat 3rd row without independent rear suspension that i know of..... the cruiser is gonna be 15-20k more expensive , ride is not as well mannered, rear cargo room is seriously reduced by the seats, it is... -

you should contact and make a formal complaint with your states attorney generals office consumer protection division, at least it will be on record and documented the mere act of the ag office making an inquiry might make them change there tune significantly -

Check Engine Light / Erased Smart Key
i have scanned my lr4 many times and cleared codes with no problem......you should try a reset by discomnnecting your battery for 5 minutes and see what happens -

Lr4 Brakes
the problem is more likely the caliper than the rotor or pad.....there is a tsb for rear brake squealing when backing up and they replace the caliper mounts and bolts i think and solved my problem......you should verify whether this tsb applies to your lr4 mine is 2011, 35000 miles and still on... -

drove my lr4 in cape cod this summer with the pirelli scorpion atr at 18psi all around and had all kinds of trouble until i remembered to turn off dsc....sand is really all about the tire, just going to an 18 inch wheel makes a huge difference, the more sidewall you have to deflate the more tire... -

Guesses on how long a new LR4 will last?
Mechanically they seem pretty strong it is heavy chassis and designed to hold up to offroad driving most problems with land rovers are electrical sensor issues and it has a bunch of them A code reader is a good investment , mechanically alot is carried over from lr3 the lr4 has bigger brakes... -

great post.....the air suspension when off road really is a slick piece of engineering, gives virtual much better ground clearance than anything out there ....if your not gonna go offroad i think the lr4 is a waste of money....get some kind of crossover.... 4runner interior is awful, no... -

yep that is the point i was trying to make, yours will fit since it is on the 19" rim, but i am pretty sure the zeon on the 18" rim is a bit larger diameter and will not fit in the spare tire location.....just something to think about if someone goes with the 18" rim option......i think with... -

Tires
second this......i have about 6 months on my scorpion atr and am happy with them, the goodyear mtr won't be great on snow or wet roads, noisy, but great in mud, but pretty much only mud......i figure the atr will be better majority of my use time......did some pretty gnarly offered stuff with... -
