also check your tires? could it be coming from the front? check those tires, i just replaced my front tires due to terrible wear and the annoying vibration was being caused at 12-18 miles an hour. put on new tires and it is like driving a new vehicle. what about when slowing down as well...- outdoorfever

High milage oil?
on my yota, i use synthetic high mileage. it does cost a lot, costs a ton, and onyour rover i am not sure if its recommended. At least the synthetic, since it breaks up all the old gunk from yrs of build up causing more leaks, yikes! I have yet to have any problems with mine and I am not for...- outdoorfever

Got the rover back...
there is a lot of cool stuff about that truck. Alan and his wife did a wonderful job of fixing it up for that trek. Its definately an inspiration.- outdoorfever

Yea and sergei, those racks? they cant hold a lot of weight can they? i'd recommend moving to a bigger, stronger basket. the problem is that a lot of mid weight suvs like the xterra and 4runner, pathfinder etc, most of the weight limits are the same with or without a stock rack.
