daytime running lites changeover takes aproximately fifteen minutes to complete. its a simple procedure using IDS. We use to have to change the CCF file which took twenty minutes but now they bypassed it with a simple procedure and its easy.
a thousand dollars. My god the dealer is ripping...
yes and no, if he turns the wheel back and forth and all the lites go out then its recalibrating the steering wheel module.
if isnt on but blinking its making its way up.
unless it displays a fault and then you need to have it cleard.
iif it doesnt self clear .
Hi, I dont know crap about rovers but I work on Land Rovers so dont ask questions about a Rover 75 or other piece of junk rover car.
other then that got questions just ask.
and no I wont tell you where I live or work.
sorry.
the kit now includes the real problem
a control module that is part of the abs modulator. the switches worked maybe twenty percent of the time.
but its seven hundred bucks now.
but you can take off the module without taking off the lines.
seen it before, crank signal shorted out at the ecu but it was the connector.
try heating it up to the point of stall and wiggle the wiring to the ecu.
it it doesnt fail, check the ground strap at the back of the engine.
that could be loose.
sounds like a bad crank sensor. fuel pump needs a crank signal to get started.
and the cel has to be diagnosed as well as the hdc and abs by someone with a testbok.
but I would hedge a bet and stick a crank sensor in it to get you running at least.
has it been 3 days or 3k miles. cause if it is they should pay the bill.
they are required to.
and no they wont know squat about them. they aint fords they are rovers.
get to know a rover dealer not your ford dealer.
never buy a vehicle from a dealer that doesnt service them...
