2014 LR4 Facelift
How is air intake handled on the SC engines? One of the biggest problems with the current NA engine is that it has dual air intakes making it hard at best to put a snorkel on to improve wading depth. Are the SC engines the same? -

The dogs were the main reason for getting the LR4 - 4 dogs, about 500 pounds combined weight, the average being pulled down by our little 50 pound ChowChow, plus the occasional foster dog :) Outside of something like a Surburban, the LR4 is one of the only SUVs with a roof line and enough space... -

56k miles later and no issues, still looks like new...well except for the dog hair in the back. No issues with the dashboard as previously mentioned by others. -

What is interesting and counter to the survey results is that forums such as this normally bring out all the problems because they are aired out vocally. I know on other forums this is the case because it is where you find information to fix the issues. I just haven't seen that here to the same... -

Accent LED kit
I know to each his own, but I like our LEDs because of the shape. Much better than nearly all others out there. I just wish 1) they were brighter and 2) they could be on all the time. I do see them as utilitarian because they would be good for daytime running lights. Many states require lights... -

Another vote for the Coopers. There are slim pickings on a good tire in 19". If you want something not quite as aggressive as the Zeon, we have the Scorpion Zero's on our Cayenne and are very good tires in the snow, rain and dry pavement and are quite happy at 120++ mph, don't ask me how I know... -

Smart key battery warning lamp
I assume it was a fresh battery? I replaced mine for the first time this week on my 2010. What about the second key? Does that give the same warning? Does the warning go off with that second key? -

LR4 Camera System Fault
That's a weird one. On my 2010 and sounds like we have similar trucks, the fault was simply little blue screens for each camera that was out. It took a while, but the dealer finally got it sorted out. This is a known problem - take it in. They replaced the system a couple times and a few... -

51k miles on our 2010 and outside of our initial surround camera system issue (now fixed) all we've had to do has been routine maintenance. -

2 Quirks from recent road trip
I've had different radio issues. Sometimes I will get no sound. It functions properly, but nothing put of the speakers. A restart of the car always fixes the problem. My guess is that all these fancy electronics come back to bite us from time to time. -

Simply dumbfounded
Sorry to hear about your issue. Definitely stay on top of it with LRNA. They will make it right. We had continual problems with our surround camera system on our 2010 and it took a while to fix, LR NA stayed on top of it and compensated us for our trouble. -
