    K&N filter for LR3

    There is also the debate that the oil used after cleaning the filter cause problem with the mass air flow dectors. I have been told this by dealer and non-dealer service people.

    LR3 Battery life (w/ engine off)

    A decent jump start with air compressor is only about USD$60 I now have one in my LR3 all the time. Cheap insurance and very handy to have around. You just have to remeber to re-charge every couple of months.

    That's becuase its the law in Canada. I think the LR dealer can enable this on the US models, but it still doesn't solve the fog light issue....

    If you leave the headlamps in the on position and remove the key, does the LR3 automatically shut them off to save the battery? I couldn't find this mentioned in the manual.

    Retrofit Locking Rear Differential?

    Even if you can access the off-road display I don't think you can tell. I have a non-HD HSE and my off-road display show lockers on both the center and rear.
