    Would you buy another one?

    Yes-in a heartbeat.

    Neglected Alloy Wheels

After a good wheel cleaning, I use this stuff twice a year-spring and fall-Collinite Insulator Wax. Originally designed for high tension wire insulators and outboard boat drives, this stuff is pretty durable under temperature and weather extremes. Will not stop brake dust from accumulating but...

The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread

BFG AT's-they have been awesome! I have 30K on them already and you can hardly notice the wear-

The obligatory "Show off your LR3' thread

    Here's mine-nothing special-just all dirty and salty-

    Alarming for no obvious reason

Ditto-faulty hood latch sensor. I had to replace mine and the problem went away.

    What a mess

That's awesome-I would have left it like that for a few weeks-

    What are your thoughts?

BFG's no question. Not as aggressive as the Goodyear's, more aggressive than anything else. Still fairly quiet on the highway and great in snow and mud. They also wear like iron.

    2007 LR3 Tail Light-Brake Light Bulb Replacement

You need to pull on the outer edge of the tailight housing-it snaps into the body. The entire light assembly swings out so you have access to the bulbs. It's very easy to do-once you get it.

Slow crank-all dash lights on-possible solution found

Had to replace my starter because of faulty ground as well. Did not have the slow start, it just died one day when I tried to start it up. Though tit was the battery at first. Dealer fixed-no charge.

Solution for low aux input level? (iPod)

I bought the Drive+Play 2 from Harmon Kardon a little over a year ago. I just found out it is no longer available but it works very well. The display fits in the NAV space in the dash and looks like an OEM product...

RTE LR3 REAR Bumper and Tire Carrier

The cables are for improved radio reception when out in the wild :)

    Breakaway Front Differential

I would ask for full reimbursement, including the towing. There is no reason for the diff to come loose like that if was properly installed. BTW I had my front diff go last December, was just out of warranty. Called LRNA and the footed the bill for the replacement. It pays to call them and...

    New Lr4!!!!!!!!

It could have been worse-I do not like the Pep Boys tail lights. I would still try to order as base a model as possible. The terrain response knobs are harder to get to, although sometimes the knobs/levers in the LR3 get bumped around when the wife is in the car and we have more "stuff" in the...

I know tires have been beaten to death, but...

BFG's all the way you pay more for them but will have them a lot longer that anything else.

    LR3 Extended Warranties? 2005 LR3 HSE

I do not have experience with that company and it's hard to make a call without seeing the contract. I did buy a warranty from Easy Care-http://www.easycare.com/. They seem to have comprehensive coverage and will provide a quote based on your mileage and model year. I highly recommend doing...

    The 2009 LR3

Painted wheel arches are not for me. They will look a lot more sorry after some off-roading as opposed to any fading the sun might offer the black plastic ones. No thanks. They also make the vehicle look much less functional and more pedestrian.

    Front Differential Failure-51,000 Miles

The feedback I got from the dealer was that the diff fluids are not root cause of diff failure-but then again-I don't think you're going to get too many dealers to admit to having problems beyond what LR officially issues as a tech bulletin or recall. It would take a private mechanic to verify...

    Front Differential Failure-51,000 Miles

Thanks-I was actually going to abandon the brand if they did not pull though in some way. Unless I pulled stumps for a living, there is no excuse for that kind of mechanical failure in a vehicle with just over 50K miles.

    Front Differential Failure-51,000 Miles

Update: LR NA said that they will provide 100% reimbursement for the front diff fix! Will take a few weeks to process check. Will pay for most of my extended warranty-how ironic.

Anyone running BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A KO - 265/65/18 ?

I have the BFG's-Outside of having great grip in snow and mud, one of the main reasons I chose them is that they wear very well. I also had them on my D-90 and Ford Explorer.

    Steering Wheel Peeling

Mine was replaced. I will say that no cleaner or treatment will prevent the leather from de-laminating. If you have a bad wheel you have a bad wheel. Skin oils, UV, heat will eventually take it's toll on what was a poorly designed product from the get go. The replacement wheel the dealer...

Harman Kardon Drive and Play2-iPod is no where to be seen-the HK interface is much more driver friendly.

AUX hookup but Uneven sound in speakers?

Sure, would like to see photos-I'll post photos of the Drive and Play2-I did not get Nav so the screen fits right in the pocket where the nav display would go.

    Dash Cover - Iranian

The tirm kit in the ebay ad as well as others I have seen are just painted plastic, yes? If so, then why bother, unless ther is a true aluminum skin kit for the dash?
