DIY Oil Changes Impossible & 2nd Battery
Took a look under the lr4. Most of the area is shielded off, so i really couldnt see anything. I'm not a mechanic either, but have changed the oil on plenty a vehicle. The oil is checked on the display. Could not see or find the filter from underneath or by looking under the hood. -

The first maintenance is free, big deal right. I will look under today to see whats there. I'm not really even that comfortable not changing the oil for that long a period of time, so I HOPE they know what they are doing. I most likely won't wait that long. john -

It does not appear there is room for a second battery. As far as the oil change goes, that was mentioned by someone on here a while back. First oil change is not due for 15k or one year, whichever comes first. I will take a look underneath to see if there is a drain plug and filter visible. John -

Hmm, well....if i wanted n 08..i would still try. That was 4 months ago, plus the new model year has come out so you never know. You can make them an offer, the worse they can say is no. JMO of course. -

check out this link. THe dealer is located in Md., not sure where you are from. All the 2008's have some miles on them, demonstrators or exec cars. If i remember, anywhere from 3-8000 miles. This was a few months ago so....But they have a large selection of 08's. And i wouldn't let that price... -
