Imagine paying $60,000 for a car that doesn't drive straight.
Ok- a couple of questions- if you have had Toyota's for 20 years and there has never been ONE thing in twenty years that has broken on any of your cars (like even the mud flap falling off) then WHY would you buy any other car??!! My second question is if your car is pulling to the right again... -

buying a used Land Rover......questions?
A very open ended question- but I will give it a shot. I would not buy a LR without taking the truck to be inspected, and or printing out LR 144 checklist and going through it. (go to LR.com and then pre-owned) To start- Rev the engine in Neutral and look for black smoke- the more the worse it... -

Roof Rack Lights
People will tell you this is a bad idea- don't do it, etc... but I ran the wire right down the roof rails then off to the roof gutter, at the end of the roof gutter I tucked the wires around the top front corner of the driver's door. Once inside, I ran the cord down the inside of the panel next... -

Headliner Help
I guess this is always an option- but with the number of Disco's piling up in Junk yards you can get all kinds of things for cheap....like the headliner I just pulled out of a '98. It is in perfect condition and the ol' man only charged me $25 for the thing.. although he did laugh at me for the... -

Removing Dents
If the bowl plunger doesn't work for you, I had an industrial strength suction cup sitting around that I used about a year ago and it worked great. I don't know where you could buy one, but I bet if you give $10 to a car-windshield installer, he would let you use his. -

Head Light ?
My girlfriend's 2005 Volvo S60 accomplishes everything people have asked for with head light options. ex: Fog lights come on independently, no matter what option the lights cut off with the car or on a time delay, etc... (except no option to turn off the DRLs) I wish that Volvo would have... -

Upgrade the Grill?
Has anyone seen this grill insert in person? I am not one for "blinging" out my ride, but the black plastic on my 00' is getting a little crapy looking and I thought this could be a nice touch. But I would love to hear from someone who has seen it in person...- Kestreljr

Trailer Lights
I found mine in the back cargo compartment on the passenger side, where the access is to the break lights. pop out the little cargo holds then unsrcew the 2 screws and there it is. It was all pre-wired. (97 Disco) -

Looking to buy a '99 Range Rover Need Some Advice.
Highlander- I am in the exact same boat as Blazin- I would really like to get about a '99 to '00 Range Rover with 60-80 miles on it. Are there certain things that WILL wear out it is just a matter of when- that I should check for when looking these things over, such as air suspension...- Kestreljr

Headliner Help
Don't do it- at least if you have the tan head liner! I tried the adhesive plan this weekend on my 98 Disco I, and it didn't work. The dodo brown foam on the interior got wet from the adhesive and stains the light tan headliner- plus I couldn't get the headliner to stick very well at all... -

New ABS thread
Thanks all - worked perfect! I actually left the bulb in- just turned it a bit to disconnect so that it would eleminate other light coming in. After 2 years of this I am both so happy to have it done and feel like an idiot for not fixing it sooner. -

type of gas you all are using on your disco?
I am no mechanic, but as a LR owner I guess we all are to some degree... and from personal experience I wouldn't use it. The guy at British imports in ATL told me that the cylinders have minimal clearance anyway on these LR engines and the lower octane gas doesn't give it that spark, and more... -
