You can say that again! I have an 06 V6 and its one helluva thristy beast. I can almost watch the gas gauge go down. Tie Rod Replacement
Has anybody replaced the tie rods on their LR3? My passenger side inner and outer are worn and need to be fixed so I can get an alignment. The outer doesn't seem to be very difficult but the inner maybe a little more on the challenging side.- PhilSessions

Suspension Fault
My 06 LR3 is at the dealer right now getting a new compressor, and hopefully I can get the old one so we can tear it down and find out whats causing them to go "bad". Will let you know later this evening.- PhilSessions

18" wheel Tires

Suspension Fault
I can get my rig to raise and lower but sometimes it feels as if its not "perfectly" balanced and the fault is thrown within a min. of adjustment and the compressor runs a very long time. The compressor is about $605-$640 from the dealer and another 200 for labor. I was just quoted a price of $884 + tax from my dealer here in Ohio. If you do find a replacement comp. (good luck, I have looked all over the place to find one that is less than 600 bucks and its essentially impossible...- PhilSessions

After maybe too much researching the best tire for an LR3 I narrowed it down to 2 choices. Its between the Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60R18 and the Goodyear Silent Armor 265/60R18.
