I would prefer the AMK if it will fit. The main question to ask them would be does it hang down lower than the original. If it does, and not by much it will not clear I think. -

What is the average lifespan of an LR3 alternator?

2005 LR3 SE unlock the 4x4 information screen
the 4x4 info screen displays ride height steering angle, as well as what the state of locking diff, and transfer case is, etc. It's handy to have it. -

front diff and transfer box
It seems a bit odd that all of these items went bad together. I do not recommend continuing to drive on a bad front diff, because the core will be ruined. I can help sort you out if you need to save a few bucks on the big stuff. -

Water Pump, and a minor leak that is cooking off the coolant from the heat of the engine. If you are still fiddling with it, maybe you should take it somewhere at this stage. You are playing with fire. -

Suspension fault, random raising and lowering, up and down especially at idle
That's an odd one for sure. It almost sounds as if the switch has gone haywire. Maybe you can find a buddy and swap it out. Driving it on the bump stops is possible, but I would not consider it safe, it won't handle well at all. Even if the switch was bad, it would not go down wheel by wheel... -

How to test an Air Strut?
Was it physically all the way down, or on the screen (ie: bad height sensor). You should be able to spray it with soapy water and check for leaks, and also the air lines. They can be rebuilt or replaced. It seems like if it's popped then the compressor would be running a lot, and it wouldn't... -

They're definitely not sports cars. At nearly 6k LBS it was a bit underpowered, which is why they eventually went to the 5.0 Liter. Nice.. but the 4.4 is tolerable. Be sure and not confuse transmission overheat messages with engine overheat messages, as a side note. I would not just replace... -

The low coolant error could be related to a bad float in the reservoir. The obvious first choice would be the thermostat. Replace the whole assembly, crossover comes with the thermostat. Following the service manual, you will want to properly bleed the system, these are very finicky on this... -

Random Errors, what you think?
Get a hose out, and stuck soaking it, section by section until you get the faults. It sounds like you need to inspect the cowl for sure, remove the cabin air filter and check for water damage, check your battery box and fuse box covers, etc. Got to be a short induced by water somewhere, or... -

It seems like the water ingress is due to the cowl leaking, was your cabin air filter also wet? You can fit a new cowl, and silicon it down there. It will warp again, just above the cabin air inlet and water will leak in. That's kind of what it sounds like, the information you provided is... -

I ended up doing tie rod ends (it's actually sold as a kit now) from LR complete. I suggest that you measure before if you are doing it yourself, and use a mild locktite on the nut, after you get it aligned. Ask me how I know. I also ended up replace the lower steering knuckle, which had play... -

I would suggest rotating the tires to eliminate that as an option. If you are getting oscillation in the steering wheel, it's good to check as mentioned above, plus inner outer steering rods. A good test for that is to have the vehicle shut off, and move the wheel back and forth and listen for... -

Removing a stuck hitch receiver?
That's was the plan, but it will likely need some trimming due to the top attachment point. If it works out, perhaps a custom cover would be a solution. The one pictured is the Beta, mainly for feedback.
