    Source for TPMS sensors...Black Compos on a 2016 LR4

Not to mention that you can get them for about 1/3 the price of the IID tool. But still, kind of a snarky response for a 15 post guy, or anybody really. Now for my answer, I got mine for my '13 at OEWheels for a good price. Problem is, the ones that they sent didn't work, and they have yet to...

feeler for my 2014 lr4 lux

Since you don't say what options it has, howzabout looking up on autotrader and comparing to the 100s on sale there. Sheesh, do a little research. Without knowing anything but what you stated it does seem in the right range.

    Painted roof tracks

Oh, when you see what's under those rails, you'll realize a little water won't hurt them! I had quite a compost pile under mine after 10 years of debris collecting in there. Enough that I'm considering putting a bead of silicone along the rails of my newer LR4. I'm really surprised they...

Black front grill off of ebay

I'm glad you brought this found this thread. I didn't know there was a glossifier. I did my wheels a couple days ago and was worried about doing the grill and cleaning bug guts off it. Sounds like that would make it easier.

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

Interesting update: The place where I got the sensors told me that they've been having 'problems' with the model they sent me with my vehicle, so they will send out OEM ones and pay to have them tires remounted. Nice to see good service these days!

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

I was under the assumption that the IIDTool wouldn't do that. It does? That'd be easiest because I don't care if I have them or not either, just didn't want to look at the warning light for the next 10 years.

LR4 One Take The Smoking Tire

I agree, $70k is just getting a tad greedy IMO. On the other hand, I've always been amazed that my first LR, a 1991 RR county SWB stickered out in the high $40k range and 22 years later a 2013 base LR4 (even base had FAR more options and features and technology and dependability etc etc) was...

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

Good thought, but you're both wrong. Bought new sensors for the LR4. Never had them on the LR3 So the tire shop said they did whatever they did with their little computer and 'saw' that the sensors themselves were operable. They said if I bought the wrong frequency or...

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

Thanks, I'm really liking it. Not sure why the TPMS light won't turn off....

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

LOL, good point ;) I had to touch up the wheels after the tires got mounted so I didn't want to wash them yesterday, soon enough!

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

Surfrider77, I think that varies from dealer to dealer. I had them replaced under extended warranty on my LR3, and my dealer barely warranties anything. Although maybe by now they have grown tired of replacing them and won't cover them anymore, it's been a while.

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

I'm sure everyone has their opinion on it. I did do quite a bit of research and didn't find any negatives or problems with them on the LR. A few people here have them and can hopefully chime in. And the guys at expedition portal have them, and I give them credit for knowing what they are...

    LR4 Landmark wheels and tires

I'd get (because I just did, like 2 hours ago) 265/60R18 BFG KO2. I put them on plastidipped black LR3 rims with 1.25" spacers. And they look, and should perform, sweeeeet. I spent a lot of time debating about the 265/65R18 size, but decided that the 1" bigger size just filled up the wheel...

    Control Module question :)

I once used a lawnmower blade between the leads, lol! There is a Gap Pro model for multiple VINs. 4-5X the price AND a yearly subscription req'd.

HD Pack Locker vs. ARB aftermarket

I don't have any experience with ARB, but what I can tell you is when I bought mine last year, from a LR dealer no less, they didn't bother putting it in the ad. And I don't think very many non LR dealers no what it is anyway. They are rare, but they are out there but I think you just have to...

    Rusted out voyager sliders/steps

This has always been my concern living in the rust belt. I've wanted rear bumper and sliders for a while but they get ruined so fast. I wonder if anyone who lives with salt has found something that lasts?

    LR5 Release Updates?

To me, that's like saying "why'd you get a Labrador if you're not a duck hunter?" Yes, it's skill set is retrieving, but it's also got other great traits. Same goes with LR4, ride quality/comfort, ride height, great visibility, ability in snow, cargo volume for it's size, looks, and yes a...

    topside oil change question

I would imagine that there just isn't a straight shot from the dipstick tube to the bottom of the oil pan. I don't think it's a big mystery or anything.

    topside oil change question

Can't tell you why, can only tell you that you're not alone. I could only get about 4Q out myself. Hope you find some solace in that, :)

Question for LR3 5 seat car owners

I removed my third row on my 4. No way I want to be the bus driver. Plus, I'd rather have the extra room under the floor for tow ropes and other stuff

    front bearing replacement

Sad to see they didn't fix this after it was such a problem with the LR3. I did both on that about 300 miles apart. So at least I know how to do it when the LR4s go bad :)

Moved to the US & looking for a LR3 - advice?

My guess you will find a lower mileage around every so often but the owner will be asking a pretty proud price. The way I figure it, mine really can't drop in value at this point so the only costs involved are fixing what breaks. Be sure to stop in and let us know what you find!
