Black front grill off of ebay
I'm glad you brought this found this thread. I didn't know there was a glossifier. I did my wheels a couple days ago and was worried about doing the grill and cleaning bug guts off it. Sounds like that would make it easier. -

Interesting update: The place where I got the sensors told me that they've been having 'problems' with the model they sent me with my vehicle, so they will send out OEM ones and pay to have them tires remounted. Nice to see good service these days! -

I was under the assumption that the IIDTool wouldn't do that. It does? That'd be easiest because I don't care if I have them or not either, just didn't want to look at the warning light for the next 10 years. -

Good thought, but you're both wrong. :biggrin: Bought new sensors for the LR4. Never had them on the LR3 So the tire shop said they did whatever they did with their little computer and 'saw' that the sensors themselves were operable. They said if I bought the wrong frequency or... -

Surfrider77, I think that varies from dealer to dealer. I had them replaced under extended warranty on my LR3, and my dealer barely warranties anything. Although maybe by now they have grown tired of replacing them and won't cover them anymore, it's been a while. -

I'd get (because I just did, like 2 hours ago) 265/60R18 BFG KO2. I put them on plastidipped black LR3 rims with 1.25" spacers. And they look, and should perform, sweeeeet. I spent a lot of time debating about the 265/65R18 size, but decided that the 1" bigger size just filled up the wheel... -

This has always been my concern living in the rust belt. I've wanted rear bumper and sliders for a while but they get ruined so fast. I wonder if anyone who lives with salt has found something that lasts? -

I would imagine that there just isn't a straight shot from the dipstick tube to the bottom of the oil pan. I don't think it's a big mystery or anything. -

Question for LR3 5 seat car owners
I removed my third row on my 4. No way I want to be the bus driver. Plus, I'd rather have the extra room under the floor for tow ropes and other stuff -

front bearing replacement
Sad to see they didn't fix this after it was such a problem with the LR3. I did both on that about 300 miles apart. So at least I know how to do it when the LR4s go bad :) -

Moved to the US & looking for a LR3 - advice?
My guess you will find a lower mileage around every so often but the owner will be asking a pretty proud price. The way I figure it, mine really can't drop in value at this point so the only costs involved are fixing what breaks. Be sure to stop in and let us know what you find!
