    Driving Disco on snowy/icy roads? Help?

    Just an update: I drove again on snowy mountain roads this weekend and put it in "high" differential lock and I was cruising at 40mph with no problem. I suggest putting it in diff lock on snowy roads. Without it, I was slidding all around the turns.

    Bilstein/Koni/OME/Monroe or OEM Shocks

    I plan on going with Bilsteins when I get the cash to replace them. They are very well known and respected in the shock industry, as well as Koni, but British Atlantic sells a Bilstein kit that looks good. Bilsteins are top of the line. PS I like that teal paint on your Disco.

    Try upgrading to slotted Brembo rotors and some high performance pads like those "green stuff" pads, I forget the company name, it starts with an E. I'm probably going to be upgrading my brakes pretty soon.

    Alright the wheels are turned, so that might be affecting the level. I get my bolt tomorrow, and I can refill the fluids and see what's going on. I cleaned the dripping from around the area it was dripping and I don't see any new dripping, so maybe it's nothing... I'll check the power steering...

    transfer flush?

    What's the difference between replacing the fluid and flushing the transfer case fluid? I've replaced mine, but didn't know it could be flushed.

    Running lights?

    A while ago I was wondering what those lights did; they never seemed to light up. I finally realized there's a button on the dash that turns them on. I found one was out and I replaced it with a new bulb and it worked fine. So maybe it's just a bad bulb or something wrong with the wiring itself.

    I called atlantic british and he said it could be the power steering or the transmission cooler line... they both are in that area, so I have to clean it and figure out what exactly is leaking. Hopefully is not major. I'm pissed in case you didn't notice.

    Link doesn't work anymore. Went to their site and it looks like they removed the disco manual. Anyone have it? I need it and I lost the one I had when I erased my harddrive.
