I just came back from 5 days hunting in Down East Maine. I towed a trailer with a large 4 wheeler, plus 4 guys plus all their gear, plus food and fuel. Once there I used it to search out hunting areas, cross logs, ford rivers, cross huge mud holes, drive totally off any road or trail and take us...- crossbowme

LR3 Decissions
I only have 4K on mine so far and I have had some minor irritations. However, the truck I traded in on the LR3 (2003 GMC 3500 Duramax) was a maintenance nightmare. I bought it new and in 52k I had on it I had it towed to a dealer 3 times and had 4 major failures! I think the LR3 will have to go...- crossbowme

Nav DVD
For some reason mine never had that restriction eventhough the screen said that was the case. I just type in my info as I go. The upgrade changes the appearance somewhat for the better, i.e. more dirt roads, etc. I have a 2006 LR3 SE.- crossbowme

I installed the 2008-2009 in my LR3. It made a big difference in accuracy of the GPS. However, I live in a rural area that has had a lot of road construction in the past few years. If your disc is 2-3 years old I would definitely upgrade. It also changed the appearance somewhat of the nav...- crossbowme
