I too would like to see more people run larger tires... I think one of the main reasons people aren't running tires that big is because they are afraid to be the first ones to give it a try and report back. Automatic carwash
Sorry about the damage! I wouldn't go back... I think I have only been through an automatic car wash once or twice with my LR4. I don't trust the brushes, I am always wary of the chemicals they use, and they are usually just too rough on the vehicles. I have done it when I'm in a pinch, but...- bushway9172

What is that thing mounted on the spare wheel?
I should get one too... I have a small 12v Tire Inflator for emergencies, but it's so slow and unrealistic. I have used it a handful of times to get a few PSI though. Every time I go to Home Depot I mean to buy an actual air compressor... Next time! My next major mod will be a roof rack.- bushway9172

Lr4 Mpg
Bringing this thread back to life... Just curious what you guys are getting for gas mileage these days. 2010 LR4 with 62k miles. Johnson Rod lift and mud tires... Averaging 11.8 mpg city/highway mix (Probably ~75% city).- bushway9172

I've never had them. Just heard great things about them. Finlay on here has run them on both of his LR4's, and they seem like great tires. Much more rugged and durable than the stock contis while still providing a smooth and comfortable ride on the street. I don't think you'd be disappointed...- bushway9172

2013 LR4 Tires
David, Do a quick search for tire threads on here and you will find lots and lots of useful reading material. Your LR4 probably has 255/55R19 Conti's. A good replacement for those might be a set of 255/55R19 Cooper Zeon LTZ's. Those should hold up better for you. Another option would be...- bushway9172

The +44 offset of the Compos is good, and it seems to accommodate bigger tires without lift (i.e. those running 265/65's without rods, IID, or LLAMS). My offset is +20, which pushes my wheels out significantly more. With that being said, I needed to run rods just to clear 265/65's.- bushway9172
