Trade up or fix up.

Fuel system issues?
Ok guys 98 disco 1 with 4.0. Ran great last night set over night and then suddenly developed slow start, extended cranking. Very bad stumble off idle and will die every time you come to a stop and start to accellerate again. New plugs and wires about 3 months ago. plugs are clean. New fuel... -

service engine light
I'm sure this has been hashed out several times but what is the consensous on the service engine light on a 98 disco. Reset the red box or remove it entirely. What is the effects if it is removed completely -

Tach quits working
Dash tach and water temp gauges quit at times. Worse when cold. If you hit a bump they will start working, so I know im looking for a bad connection. Any ideas on location of connectors. The plug at the dash panel is ok. -

98 disco with 2000 rpm idle since engine swap
I have a 98 disco with over 200000 miles. Engine was weak and had low oil pressure. Final straw was 3 rocker arm tips wore off causing knocking noise. Found another 98 disco wreck with 85000 motor sounded and ran good. swapped complete. used original exhaust manifolds and upper intake manifold... -
