Replacing engine
Thanks Chris, Did have my mechanic test and the head gasket is bad. Didn't know if this would let coolant mix with the oil. -

I have a '99 Disco II that i think is going to need a new engine.Have coolant mixing with the oil, possibly cracked head or block? Does anyone know good sources for used/reman engines? Also what does secondary air refer to? -

Trans. temp warning light on Disco II
Just bought a 1999 Disco II with 94500 miles. The red transmission temp. warning light(upper right corner on dash) has been on for about two months according to the guy I bought it from. He told me the light came on about two months ago. There no indications that the trans. is running hot, fluid...
