So while scrolling through eBay listings...

I have the Urban Offroad Rack on my LR3. I ordered it a few years ago. It looks unique and fits the roofline well, in my opinion. I really like the Rhino-lining idea of the fenders....hmmmm.

Driving in Sport Mode all of the time - bad?

Another thread on this topic made me curious. Would driving around in Sport Mode all of the time negatively affect the transmission on our LR3's? I am not sure why it would, but I didn't know if more aggressive shift patterns wear the transmission quicker.

    Touch-up paint

I purchased the paint chip pen from British Atlantic for my Bonatti Grey (now called Stornaway Grey, I believe) LR3 before installing a clear bra. It is way too dark to match perfectly in my opinion. However, with black you should be fine. The pen is very easy to use, but the paint dries very...

    LR3 Mudflaps

I screwed mine in with the provided screws just so I could easily install and remove them before going off-road (I don't want to snap one off on a rock). Using this method, they have been plenty secure for me so far. Just thought I would throw in my $0.02.

I had the 3M product installed about 6 months ago. I wish I would have done it when I bought mine new!

I am 50/50 on Sunday as well. Does another weekend (or day) work better for anyone else?

Thanks for the research codemonkey. All three of those trails look like some easier trails to give the LR3 a little test. Here is the link to MSV: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=18 The description says it should be a fun trail for new and experienced drivers. Thoughts?

Of course! It would be great to get a bunch of Rovers on a trail! If we do a trail near Boulder, it would probably be best to meet up at a gas station in Boulder. Hopefully one of the area residents can help pick a spot as the date gets closer. I haven't heard anything about the rafting...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves...I take those off in the Winter! The mag chloride they put on the roads here eats that fake chrome up!

Colorado LR3 (or other Rover) Owners

Hello everyone! I have been lurking for many months and finally decided to post. Thanks for all of the info - what a great site! I am interested in meeting up with any fellow LR3 or other Rover owners who wouldn't mind a relative newbie to off-roading to tag along on a trail or two this...
