So far I agree with most of all your points except the tires...I just put on some Michilen Synchrones and they are much queiter than th eGy's I had on them previous...but as this is not really LR's fault there isn't much bad to say about the LR3 IMHO. just took a trip to Yosemite...while... -

Issues that just have ticking as a symptom could be anything...I would not think anyone here would have a clear cut answer for you regarding this, they may have theories, do you have an independent Rover Service center near you to get a second opinion? Might be the best approach to it... -

Bugga your in Michigan, makes it a bit tough mate...are LR3's 50 state smogged? Cal is a bit strict on the smog thing as I understand it. but that is a great value for your ride. if you were in Cali I would consider it mucho. -
