06 LR3 SE Brake Advice???
Need to find some good brakes for front and rear. I've used the British Atlantic package for 400.00. I ran them for about 60K miles but had lots of brake dust and squeaks. Looking for pads, rotors, sensors and other parts to change out brakes. Any suggestions???? -

Yakima roof rack vs gas mileage
Quick question.... I have a Yakima roof rack with a shield. Seems like every time I put the rack on it feels like my gas mileage decreases. The rack is purely for show. Has anybody experienced this as well? -

Ok...thought this thread deserved an outcome reply. I order another switch and it worked. Access mode is back! With that being said...I'm selling the old switch. Everything works except the access mode. The bezel alone sales for 95.00. Asking for 50.00 plus shipping. Excellent for spare parts. -

I took the switch apart down to the circuit board and cleaned everything. Still no luck. I am just going to buy another switch. My dealer quoted me 320.00 for the part which seemed expensive. -

That's correct.... I can't use the switch to lower it... First spill was wine from my brother n law riding with me the second spill was the sun roof open when it rain. -

Yes everything worked before and after the spills... I intentionally quit using the access mode to let the system dry out and it stopped working. I will pull the console and check for corrosion. -

No lights or response from the switch for access but it lit for normal and the switch lights up and responds to extended. No factory nav. -

Nope... It only goes up! The only way I can get it down is to disconnect the battery or drive at a high speed. -

Recently my 06 lr3 will not go into access mode. It will go into off road but not access. I have spilled liquid on the console a couple of times but it had been working after that. Any thoughts? -

I didn't say that I actually wasted it but in it any event it was wasted. (which I did) Just wanted to update everyone on the outcome. I disconnected the battery. Then disconnect the center console completely. Wiped everything down and blow dried the console. I let everything sit over... -

A glass of wine wasted on my console. The truck worked fine the rest of the night but now I get an error message. I read that people who often get this message is due to the battery. So far I have disconnected the battery and cleaned the underneath wires but still no luck. Does anyone know... -

What did you do to your LR3 today?
Yep..All professional...I could have done it but did not want to hassle with taking the lights off and I wanted it to be black. They actually diluted black paint to get the color instead of using the blackout spay that most people use. They charged me 160.00 about 2 months ago.
