    I am new to this and hope that this post ends up in the technical area. How do I fix a blinking "D" (for drive) light on the dashboard? Is is something serious? 2003 Discovery 126,000 miles

    My son has my 2003 Discovery away at school. Called yesterday and said that the "D" light (for drive gear) started blinking on the dashboard and he did not know how to get it to stop. Does anyone know what it means or how to correct it? Thanks for any help you can give me.
