2003 Disco - Service Engine Soon light on

2003 Disco won't shift into park
I have a 2003 Discover SE7 Series II with 50k miles. The shifter will not go into park. All the other gears work fine and the car can be driven. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem are appreciated.- dtrasatt
