i jumped the fuel pump directly from the battery and the fuel pump worked. the fuel rail had pressure. without the jumper, the voltage was constant and did not reach 13v (im not an electrician) i unpluged the inertia switch and tried to bypass the switch with a jumper. it didn't seem to work...- klaine1

Can't find Fuel Rail Schraeder Valve

i think i should move to solve the fuel issue. i finally found the shraeder valve and depressed the stem. fuel shot out. i checked it with the ignition in position II (start position i think). I heard and felt the hum of the IACV. after i replaced the crank position sensor (fully pulled in)...- klaine1

Can't find Fuel Rail Schraeder Valve
i found it. it is under the electrical cords bundled and attached to the rim of the back of the engine compartment. it has a silver cap and is the size of a bicycle stem. thanks klaine -

Can't find Fuel Rail Schraeder Valve
For the life of me I can't find the schraeder valve on the fuel rail. I read that it is on the driver's side and may have a cap on it. And that it is in the back of the engine. I have a 2004 Discovery. Can someone give me more guidance? Thanks -

i changed the sensor (pain in my anatomy) i hope i plugged it in good. i had to unbolt the manifoldto get it on. the cover was cracked. still will not start, even after sitting awhile. i wonder if the sensor has anything to the a.c.. i have not chcked the fuel pressure. im not sure how...- klaine1
