Thanks for the reply, have heard the same from others I have talked to so I gave it some time to see if there was improvement and things appear pretty much the same. The sound is definitely worse in the morning (or after the truck has sat for a while) which is probably the rust/corrosion... -

Extended Warranties
I have also been looking in to extended warranties as I just bought a 2008 LR3 with 32,000 miles. Although I am good on miles for the manufacturer warranty the 4 year cycle runs out beginning of August this year. After reading all of these posts and suggestions (thanks to all that posted) here... -
