    We have just gone through this with our '11 LR4. VVT, timing chains, etc. Took a week to fix it. Luckily we got it in just before the warranty expired! Sometimes (but not often) I'm just lucky.

    It was a 2011 thing. We have one that we purchased new. Production was limited to 300. Agree with the previous poster that it should have been added to the lux pkg. We've enjoyed the vehicle but will be looking to sell it in the next month or two.

    What to use to remove a scratch?

    For the scratch that goes through the paint, consider dr.color chip. www.drcolorchip.com The others will probably come out with scratch x or similar. I have used dr. color chip with some success.

    Tire Dressing Splatter

    I am a big "user" of Griot's products. www.griotsgarage.com I use their tire dressing on all our vehicles and have not had a problem with "spatter". Heck, I take a swig of it every morning just to keep things moving! :cool:

    My wife brought home a new Metropolis Edition a couple of weeks ago. She loves it. So do I! It really is pretty sharp looking. I think the black interior with the contrasting white stitching is the best feature.

    Thanks LR4ME. Our Metropolis edition has the LED's in place. Sounds like they can turn them on if we can motivate them. Humm, I think I smell the cookies in the oven now. Thanks for the info.

    We're interested in the same issue - it would be great to have the '11 LED's function as DRL's. It would be best if there is a dealer programmed enhancement to make that happen. Failing that, I'm wondering if there is a DIY solution.
