Couldn't agree more, $4400 estimate is outrageous. RyanJL is correct on the brakes if you're good with some DIY. Easy, I did all four on both my 2010 and 2015 with parts for each less $600 (and that's with upgraded rotors). Hardest part was replacing the pad wear sensors since they were shot...
Not plugged in to fuse bay. It is however plugged in at the very top of the wheel arch under the liner which is a real pain to clear enough to get to plug. Ask me how! The rear one is just as much of a PITA as it's located above diff. Also, I would not splice these as you may not get good...
