    2015 lr4 nas

I really like the dual tone leather seats. They look awesome. As an owner of Ivory seats in my LR4, I admit that I might like those dual tones better. The rest is blah. Which I guess is better than a huge change (cough Vision cough). HATE the sidesteps.

    New Discovery Sport

I happen to like the current LR2; I think it drives great. If this new one drives like that, I think they'll have a huge hit. I certainly like it better than the over-priced Evoque (ymmv).

    Showoff Your LR4

Whoa. I've been on a hiatus for a while, but I came back to say damn, your rig looks great. Love the ARB w/ wench. Don't think you had it when last I looked.

Most fun I've had driving int he snow in a while

This is great feedback. I stopped by the board to look up info on the Nokians and saw this thread first. Are you planning to use them just as a winter tire, or all-year-round? And how is the interior noise when you're not driving in snow, compared to the stock Contis? Edit to add: I realized...

    LR4 Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)

I like them because they are unique and they contrast the all-black LUX leather and black exterior quite well. No one else I've seen has them in an LR4 (and my dealer tells me I'm still the only Ivory seat purchase he's sold on an LR4). That said, yeah, they're white. :) The first time you...

    Impressions of the LR4 Nav/Voice/Audio/Climate

I love my LR4's NAV system. Compared to a 2010 Infiniti's, it's lightyears ahead. Yes, it's not the most responsive system, but its accuracy is great. I have yet to run into an address it doesn't know, and I use it an average of 5 times a week (my job calls for me to go to new addresses all the...

This is a great thread. Whatever your decision, you can't lose!

    LR4 Roof Rack Question(s)

Mine are the same as yours. I couldn't find them in all-black. Oh well, I'm not driving with them on, anyway (they are super simple to remove and put back on, if you're wondering). I prefer the look with the rails on, so I'm happy I went that route, and the crossbars, when I do put them on, will...

2010 LR4 HSE Lux - No satellite radio?

When I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago, it didn't have the SAT radio in the menu either, but I knew I had ordered it (it was on the bill of sale and it was clear I had a larger antenna than the ones in the lot that didn't have it). Still, it wasn't in the menu. About 2 hours later, after I...

What do you think, it looks better stock grill or black one

Stock. That's what I ordered, actually. Black with metal. I don't dislike the black treatment, but I prefer the metal look, particularly on a black paint job (I feel the opposite about the white paint job). Regardless, it's a beautiful vehicle, imo. In the world of SUVs, the LR4 is a...

    Power Steering Blowout

Hmmm, maybe someone is trying to kill you. Granted, I have been watching a lot of Columbo on Netflix lately. Never mind. Glad it worked out.

    problem nailing down the price?

Not yet. Mine is scheduled for delivery during the last week of October. If you have multiple LR dealerships in your area, you have leverage against these guys (granted, I'm sure you don't want to wait any longer than you have to for another order). In my opinion, on a $60K purchase, the last...

    Land Rover Experience

I did look through your pics. Great stuff! I don't think I would have done truck hill on my own, but it's amazing what kind of confidence comes from having an expert navigator in the seat next to you. Not mention, doing it in an LR4 you don't own. :) You'd love the two-day experience, and as...

    problem nailing down the price?

I absolutely agree with uhur. I ordered mine at the end of July and my final price was on the order. I wouldn't settle for anything less. You had to put down a deposit, I assume? I did. You want all of this in writing.

    Sweet! Congratulations.

    Land Rover Experience

Just things like certain trails which the LR4 shouldn't go on (ruts deep enough to lead to on the underside - even in extended height, passages narrow enough to scrape/puncture the sidewalls, etc.), certain approach angles that will lead to problems, speed as a function of dealing with the...

    Land Rover Experience

I've been meaning to post about this. Two weeks ago I did a two-day class at the Experience driving school in Carmel. Had an unbelievably good time and learned a lot about what the LR4 can (and can't) do. Day one was spent on-prem, learning the basics and still trying some fun obstacles. For Day...

    Official 2014 Changes to LR4

Me too. In retrospect, I couldn't have waited. My current car's lease runs out in January and I'm not buying it. So had I planned to wait for the 2014, I would have either a) been without a car for 2-4 months (ummm, not even remotely possible if I want to keep my job, lol) b) had to settle...

    Land Rover Expedition America

What a great video. Wow. I want to do this. I can't imagine being able to take 30 days off of work, though. Barring that challenge, and the apparent inability to handle the trail (minor detail), what's the plan? In two years from now, everyone on the west coast drives east, everyone on the...

    My LR4 is being built!

Very cool, Quijote. And I'm very jealous. :) Mine is still 10/27. You better post a lot of photos. A LOT.

Love seeing off-road pics of an LR4 the same color as the one I ordered. Cheers!

Okay, October can't get here fast enough

I'm going crazy waiting for my LR4 to arrive. So bear with me. :) Quijote, SHS14, you feeling the same way? I find myself looking at various things I can buy for a vehicle I don't even have yet. I picked up some front runner wolf pack storage boxes, and I've begun to put together a kit like...

    On the subject of warranties

To be fair, considering the rate of inflation, that $2000 in 2006 would be $2316* in 2013. Not as far from the $2938 quote as it sounds. *Edit: my math is terrible. It's actually $2316, which is closer than $2000, but still several hundred less than $2938.
