PO 171 & 174 Codes (Lean Banks 1 & 2)
I have a Innova 3160d scanner. It has a live data function that I used to get O2 readings (previously posted). After the LR is warmed up they do change marginally. Is there another way to test them? The scanner also says O2 sensor status is "ok". -

Besides the shop testing for air-related leaks, I used some starter fluid and sprayed around all the hoses etc and listened for any change in the idle. Nothing sounded odd. Also, checked the oil plug & cap. The dipstick feels very tight with no signs of damage on the O-ring. Also... -

Also, had a shop check for vacuum leaks a week ago and they didn't find anything. -

The new catalytic converters were related to a bad cat code a month or so ago and they definitely had to be replaced. Not related to the PO 171/174 issue. The O2 readings are as follows (at appx 675 RPM) O2S Bank1 - range .58 - .71 (avg around .6) O2S Bank 2 - range .575 - .70 (avg around .6) -

Good Scanner for LR3 Codes
It sounds like the Innova scanner product would work. Is Gap's IIDTool worth over twice the price? I'm thinking I could use the Innova on other vehicles also. The Gap product looks like it's limited to the Land Rover. -
